Chris Ortega’s first experience with real estate was bringing home a flier for the sale of a foreclosed home to his mom, Doris. At five-years-old, Chris already knew a good value when he saw it, and Doris went on to purchase the property in Springfield, Virginia, which became their home. “Buying a home is stressful'' is what most buyers say. Chris’s mission is to take the load off for his clients, and to make the purchase and sale of any property smooth, efficient and even fun! He strives to put himself in the shoes of his clients so that they get the best value and customer experience possible. Further, with a decade of experience in the building trades, Chris brings to his job a layer of pragmatic hands-on skills that give him a unique perspective in assessing craftsmanship, structural integrity and value. A native of Northern Virginia who graduated from Lake Braddock high school, Chris has lived in Fairfax County for his whole life. Currently residing in McLean, he has developed practical experience that spans the working class neighborhoods of Springfield to the rambling estates of Great Falls. His ultimate passion is to help all people around him and to facilitate their prosperity and success. Chris enjoys long hikes in the park with his family and dog Ami, enjoying the beautiful scenic landscapes this area has to offer. Being an extremist when it comes to sports, Chris loves pushing himself to the edge: Whether it’s biking down the mountains of Colorado, climbing the jagged rocks of Great Falls, or polar plunges in the heart of winter, Chris is not afraid to enjoy life. He can’t wait to share this passion with you.
